Schedules for this coming season:
The Victoria Stars FC are happy to announce the appointment of Jon Davidson as coach for the 2003 season. Jon is currently attending the National Coaching Institute at the University of Victoria under the tutelage of Master Coach Brian Hughes. Jon is also working towards his National B License and level 4 coaching certification. Jon, comes very well recommended and brings a great deal of enthusiasm and soccer knowledge to the Stars.
2003 Information (Feb3/03)
Currently ,we are arranging for practice fields,finalizing the 2003 schedule and hunting for a new coach. Tryouts are tentatively scheduled to begin Monday April 14 ,2003. We will publish the schedule as soon as it is available. Tentative plans are to have tryouts on Monday and Wednesday during April and then switch to Tuesday and Thursday for the rest of the season.
Training field – Royal Oak Middle School. Message from the President The 2002 season was a growing, learning, improving experience for the Victoria Stars. More local players and fans are becoming aware of us and we are becoming a part of the Victoria sporting scene. We hope that this awareness continues to grow and more top players make the decision to join the Stars. This past season saw us reduce our goals against, move up two places in the standings to 4th, and qualify both for the Challenge cup and the MacAdam Cup. In the way of individual honors Stars midfielder Tera Kasubuchi won the league scoring championship. We thank our players, our sponsors, and our fans.
